The Latino Youth Leadership Conference (LYLC) empowers Latinx & other high school students in Nevada through leadership training, cultural exploration, and personal development over six impactful days. Participants engage in workshops and activities that inspire growth and foster community.

As an LYLC alum, I’ve seen the profound impact of this organization on young leaders. Contributing my creative work has been a rewarding way to give back to a program that shaped my journey, and I’m honored to support their mission through meaningful design projects.

2024!

For LYLC’s 2024 program, I collaborated with the team on a t-shirt design inspired by coloring books, featuring Latinx artisan motifs and oceanic themes. The front showcased a bold LYLC logo, while the back included a powerful slogan highlighting leadership and empowerment.

Additionally, I created a collection of themed stickers that celebrated the conference’s creative and cultural focus. This project demonstrates my skills in conceptualizing interactive designs and adding a fresh perspective to branded merchandise.

2023!

I designed apparel for the 30th anniversary of the Latino Youth Leadership Conference (LYLC).
The project involved creating baseball-style t-shirts that reflected the theme “Game Changers” with a jersey-inspired look.

I crafted single-color logo variations and typography that matched LYLC’s brand colors, ensuring versatility for different print formats. This experience showcased my collaboration skills, ability to translate themes into visual designs, and capability to deliver polished results under tight deadlines, honoring LYLC’s 30-year legacy with a modern style for participants.
